Backes & Strauss Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon

Backes & Strauss Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon

After the Duke of Cambridge and Essex, now comes Backes & Strauss’ Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon, a timepiece worthy of its royal title.

Marking the 4th generation of Backes & Strauss’ tourbillon timepieces as well as adding to the Royal Collection, Backes & Strauss’ brand new Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon has now taken up its position in a majestic manner, and rightly so.

In a constant endeavour to achieve new horological heights all the while staying true to its jewellery know- how, Backes & Strauss is proud to present its very first double peripheral automatic tourbillon timepiece. The Duke houses a winding system of which the rotor, which can be seen in the open back case, turns around the movement. The bridge of the tourbillon – much to all Backes & Strauss aficionados’ delight – is exaltingly set with 208 white Ideal Cut diamonds.

Our Duke is currently available in two beautiful variances. For those who prefer an understated look, other than its discreet diamond-set bridge in the back, the classic Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon, simply houses Backes & Strauss’ signature diamond in the crown also known as the Jewel in the Crown. However, if it is diamonds you seek, the Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon D2R is set with a total of 475 white Ideal Cut diamonds (6.48 cts); its bezel, dial, bridge, nor its buckle are shy of the brand’s eye-catching diamonds.
