Backes & Strauss Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon Baguette

Press Release

Backes & Strauss Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon Baguette

Earlier this summer Backes & Strauss released the Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon collection, adding to its series of Royal timepieces and, most importantly, marking its 4th generation of tourbillon watches.

In a constant endeavour to achieve new horological heights all the while staying true to its jewellery know-how, Backes & Strauss’ Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon timepieces house the brand’s very first double peripheral tourbillon mechanism; its winding system of which the rotor, visible via the open back case, turns around the movement. The bridge of the tourbillon – much to all Backes & Strauss’ aficionados’ delight – is exaltingly set with 208 white Ideal Cut diamonds.

Up until now, the collection had been available in two beautiful variances; the classically understated Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon and the more scintillating Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon D2R set with a total of 475 white Ideal Cut diamonds (6.48 cts).

Now, after much anticipation, Backes & Strauss are proud to complete the Duke collection with its third dazzling variance, namely the Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon Baguette. Other than its diamond-set dial, bridge and buckle, this stunning timepiece is further embezzled with 100 baguette diamonds on the case, adding up to a total of 439 diamonds (11.56 cts).
